A t-shirt with real style on it.
The design of this tshirt is a fresco painted on an exterior wall in the suburbs of Paris.
I started painting young with graffiti and frescoes. This culture developed me and impregnated me with codes.
Graffiti is urban, city-dweller. Each activist develops his "style" and defends it, which gives a whole culture radicalized around the stylization of letters. Unlike typography, graffiti doesn't care about being instantly readable, only the style matters.
The idea of this design was to wink at my roots in Périgord, a rural French region with low population density, medieval villages and gastronomy. It is ultimately the reverse of the Graffiti environment.
The style of the letters is crude, lost between the intention of what it should be versus the context in which it is found.
